365 Health Innovations is an organisation or company aimed at providing the best and viable health care services, products and innovations.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

365 Health Innovations is projected to provide the best and unique health care services and products to sustain good health for it's clients. The organization's first innovation is known as the Diabetes Mellitus/Hypoglycaemia Dialysis Machine (DIMEHD) which will mainly provide a service of extracting excess blood sugar from patients with Diabetes Mellitus type 2, reason being, most patients with such a condition do not respond to insulin. These machines can be sold or hired, the organization will also provide equipment installation and servicing at a fee. Our vision is to become the universe's best health care providers and our slogan is "Your Health Our Priority." We have many more health innovations coming soon.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

We're aiming at combating or reducing mortality rate in diabetic patients with Diabetes Mellitus type 2. There are two types of Diabetes Mellitus, namely; type 1 and 2. Type 1 is when one's pancreas is unable to produce enough insulin hormone which is used to help cells convert excess glucose to glycogen, thus, reducing blood sugar, type 1 is genetic. Type 2 is when one's receptor cells cannot respond to insulin hormone, nevertheless, the pancreas produces enough insulin hormone. Therefore, one with Diabetes Mellitus type 2 does not need to take insulin injections. The DIMEHD machine removes all the excess glucose from the patient's blood, this prevents proliferative retinopathy, peripheral artery disease, arteriosclerosis, nervous ailments and other medical conditions.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

It reduces blood sugar of diabetic patients manually, especially those in critical conditions. It is not complicated as it uses a basic mechanism of diffusion. It is environmentally friendly as it does not use any harmful chemicals. It has no side effects if performed professionally, furthermore, it does not change the homeostasis of the patient.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

At the moment, our target market is the ministry of health. There are a lot of Diabetes Mellitus type 2 patients in Zambia and all public hospitals, clinics and health centers are mainly managed by this ministry. Privates hospitals and clinics are our target market as well, other patients prefer private health centers and they ought to access our products. The World Health Organization is our biggest target, because our product has never existed before and we would love our products to reach different parts of the world because diabetes is a world wide medical challenge.

Our startup contributes to the no poverty goal because it will create employment to my fellow citizens. When manufacturing these machines, different specialists like engineers, Biomedical Scientists, Biochemists, Clinical Chemists, Computer Scientists e.t.c will be needed. The more the demand for the product increases, the more man power we will need. This would make us employ more people, thereby contributing to national GDP.

06.08 Justification for my startup

The DIMEHD machine is an idea that was cultivated from the Kidney Dialysis Machine. Nevertheless, these two machines serve different purposes. The Kidney Dialysis Machine extracts urea while the DIMEHD Machine extracts excess glucose. The concept is still the same, although, the DIMEHD Machine comes with better features for effective results. There are currently a lot of people that cannot afford a kidney transplant and are benefitting so much from the Kidney Dialysis Machine. The DIMEHD Machine was created to curb the issue of insulin not being effective on people with Diabetes Mellitus type 2.

06.09 Competitive Analysis

Our main potential competitors are manufacturers of insulin. We stand out from them because insulin is not effective enough for people with Diabetes Mellitus type 2, our product manually extracts the excess glucose out.
