Typaflow Software Systems Limited is a pioneering AI research company based in Zambia, founded by Daniel Kasonde and Emmanuel Kasonde, known as the Kasonde Twins. Our mission is to develop innovative AI solutions that honor and integrate African culture and traditions. We aim to address local challenges such as healthcare, education, agriculture, and infrastructure through advanced AI technologies tailored for Zambian needs.Our research focuses on various AI disciplines, including Language Models (LLMs), image recognition, robotics, and natural language processing (NLP). By leveraging these technologies, we seek to amplify Africa's presence in the global AI landscape and contribute to ethical AI practices worldwide. At Typaflow, we prioritize cultural integration, ensuring that our AI solutions respect and promote African cultural perspectives. The main problem we are solving is that of language barriers. Zambia is a country blessed with a diverse set of languages .Our goal is to make information more accessible in local languages, thereby promoting education, improving healthcare delivery, facilitating governmental services, and fostering inclusivity across different linguistic groups. This initiative not only enhances communication but also preserves and promotes the rich linguistic diversity of Zambia, contributing to social cohesion and sustainable development.
